Tripot

My newest finished piece is a 'tripot'.  Inspired from a design by product designer Matthew Pauk, it is a three-legged pot that allows for space underneath to place a tea candle for keeping the tea hot. 

It was a fun and challenging piece to work on.  The entire thing was hand-built, not wheel-spun, and yet I managed to get a rather smooth shape overall.  I think it could've been a bit smaller as my kettle doesn't even hold enough water to fill the whole pot.  However, that also works out to my advantage, as the spout tends to spill when it's too full.  Spout design is my main crux still, we'll see how that improves over time.
